Career

Bryce Neighbors began his working life at a retirement home in San Dimas, California, helping elderly residents, followed by a position at Arby's in Pomona, where he learned time management in a fast-paced environment. He entered the automotive industry at Big O Tire, learning tire replacement and wheel alignments, then worked at a Chrysler dealership performing oil changes and inspections. After completing Toyota training at Citrus College, he worked at a Lexus dealership before moving to Benders Automotive in Covina, where he worked for more than 10 years and achieved master technician status from A.S.E. (Automotive Service Excellence). After earning his Associate of Science degree from Citrus Community College, he began teaching part-time in the automotive technology department at Citrus College, then accepted a full-time position and taught for six years. During the 2020 pandemic, he purchased Young's Automotive Service Center in Covina, California, which he has owned and operated for two and a half years.

Early life

Bryce Neighbors was born in Glendora, California, and raised in San Dimas, California, in a suburban neighborhood in Los Angeles County. He grew up with a brother, sister, and parents, developing an early interest in machines, bicycles, and cars while working in the garage with his dad. He played baseball, basketball, karate, and golf from a young age, and enjoyed family vacations in Arizona on the Colorado River, where he developed a love for boats and watersports, particularly wakeboarding. In 5th grade, he discovered a talent for drama and English, enjoying poetry from Edgar Allan Poe and acting in school plays as the main character. In 6th grade, he developed a passion for freestyle BMX biking, which he pursued until he obtained his driver's license, after which he focused on learning about and repairing cars.
